Money from these safaris goes directly to support giraffe conservation efforts at Tafakari in Tanzania. Your vacation dollars will save precious lands protect endangered species and help build the giraffe sanctuary. Join the mission!
We need your help now. Giraffe lands are being bought for industry, leaving wildlife with no where to go. Your safari adventure helps us conserve the land before it's too late. Witness these majestic animals in their natural habitats on your vacation of a lifetime while you help to ensure Africa's most beloved animals have a home.

What's it like on an African Safari?
No one can ever fully explain the magic of the African outback or the graciousness of the people.
Tanzania has long been known as the "Land of Peace." You will find the people generous and friendly and wherever you go you will hear the words, "Karibu- you are welcome."
Your first night is in a hotel that has all the essentials (sorry, no hair dryers) but you will enjoy a buffet style complimentary breakfast of both local and Western fare.
In the bush you will find your safari tents are akin to glamping, with mattress beds and modest bathroom facilities.
Your safari team is ready to meet your every need and see to your comfort and safety. It is why we choose to work with Go2Kili.
Day by Day
Each day of your safari begins with morning in refreshing natural environments. You can take a morning walk or sit in a quiet place and watch the impalas play. Your sumptuous breakfast is followed by a full day of travel across savannas and through rain forests.
Lunch is picnic style in the safari vehicle or along designated picnic areas. Each day takes you to a new location where your comfortable accommodations are waiting for you. A well prepared dinner and evenings around a campfire close your days.

Locations
Each safari is slightly different depending on your needs and interests. All safaris include excellent viewing of the big five; lion, leopard, elephant, rhinoceros, and cape buffalo, as well as antelope, giraffes and zebras. Some locations include museums, some include hikes into wilderness or canyons, but each trip is extraordinary in its own way.
Among the locations on safari are
Tarangire National Park
The Great Rift Valley
Olduvai Gorge
The Serengeti
Ngorongoro
Maasai Village
Your Vacation Can Make a Difference
We believe the value of this experience speaks for itself, so rather than leading with costs, consider what a comparable trip might run: a week in Hawaii typically costs $2,500–$3,500 per person before airfare. Europe, considerably more.
Your African safari is $3,800 per person, with reduced rates for families. You arrange your own air travel, many guests use frequent flyer miles, but once you arrive, everything is taken care of: all meals, all in-country transportation, and all accommodations.
Every safari generates $1,400 directly to The World Giraffe Alliance, earmarked for land acquisition and relocating endangered giraffes to the sanctuary.
